Life Imitating Art: Betty Blackheart

Fuckarama. Is this life imitating art? I think perhaps it just might be....

"Betty Blackheart," is my most beloved painting in my latest collection, and she is page 1 in my upcoming book   "The Back of the Attic." This is my 3rd book overall, but my first illustrative book combining poetry (like my first 2 but far less saucy) and puzzle solving (which I am a little fanatical about)

Betty is a misanthropic rag doll with a scowly face, a chip on her shoulder and a hideous visage  to boot hidden beneath the mask of Piracy. I sketched her mask based on my own face in the mirror scowling, the patch came next and she became a pirate before I had a chance to think about it.

Somewhat ironic now, that I find myself scowling often and oh, what's this? Am I wearing an eye patch?
Yes, yes I am.

I have become Betty Blackheart, when it should have been the other way round.

Fuck my luck.

Next painting? A supermodel with a perfect body, who's healthy, supple and virile. You never know..........Betty for now, is my familiar. She's as savage as they come, so watch your step.

Comments on "The Back of the Attic"
The Back of the Attic is a collection of images with hidden objects, puzzles, riddles and brain teasers. There will be 25 in total. 11 are at stage 2, and they become more difficult as the book and story progresses. Betty is page 1 so is an easy start. I'll post more as and when though giving the game away is not my intention so i'll just bloody well see about that.
